私は嬉しい

小児脳腫瘍の会のまんぼうママさんのHP経由でkanonママさんを知り、HPで脈絡叢癌という文字を見て、携帯を持つ手が震えた。あーちゃんの病気である脈絡叢癌は、転移再発を含めても国内で年間数人しか発症しない大変稀な脳腫瘍で、今の時期に現在闘病中の同じ腫瘍の方と話ができることはないと思っていた。脳腫瘍で闘病中ということは全然嬉しくないことだけど、感激して手が震えた。

私はずっと、あーちゃんと一緒に経験してきたたくさんのことを、できるだけたくさんの人にできるだけ有益に使って貰いたいと思っていた。そのためにここであーちゃんのことを綴ってきた。まさかあーちゃんがこんなことになるとは全く思っておらず、強い運を持ったあーちゃんは、必ずみんなの希望になると強く信じていた。なのにこんなことになり、いたずらに不安や恐れ、悲しみを植え付けるだけのHPになり下がってしまい、とても悲しかった。役に立つどころか、心をかき乱してしまった。でも書かずにはいれなかった。そしてそれが何の役にも立たないことがたまらなく辛かった。

だけど、kanonママさんの存在のおかげであーちゃんの今までが、私の辛い気持ちが報われたような気がした。錯覚かもしれないけど、沈んでいた心が一気に晴れた。あーちゃんが元気になってくれることが一番嬉しいことだけど、それが叶わない願いならせめて誰かの役に立ちたい。どうかあーちゃんと私の経験がかのんちゃんの役に立ちますように…。
